Polish video game developer CD Projekt Red delayed their upcoming futuristic sci-fi RPG shooter Cyberpunk 2077. This game was announced a few years ago and actually created a lot of hype especially because of featuring Keanu Reeves (or you might know him as John Wick) in this game.
This game was scheduled to release in April this year, but suddenly today on 17th January the developers tweeted that launch of the game is currently delayed until 17 September this year.

The reason is quite reasonable. Previous we have experienced games that were just rushed for the launch like Anthem and No Man's Sky. Both the games created very good hype in the industry but they failed as a good game while launching because they were not quite holding up to the promises. Surely No Man's Sky recovered quite a bit but that's not the case with Anthem. Look, the developers spend years developing a game but when the player's response is not good, the developers don't actually get the desired results for their extremely hard work.
To avoid this issue CD Projekt Red had delayed their launch dates. They claim that the game is ready and playable but they still need some time for thorough testing and refining due to complexity of scenes and content. After all, a well-refined game is what gamers desire.
